In the USA, 335 came with significantly more standard equipment than 330. A well optioned 330 can compete, but base model vs base model, or typical equip vs typical equip, 335 is a nicer car. Any option will be perfectly fine theyre all known for reliability compared to other models like 335i but I'd definitely avoid 325i just because the 328i and 330i are better. Thanks. BMS powerbox ranges in price. most about $260-$280 8-10 whp and 8-10 tq gain on a stock 328i. your 330i might get a little more. If you have intake and exhaust it will add a little more hp. On my 330 I have put an afe cold air intake, mforce design air scoops.

On E- series here is what I found: 1- Engine software does not necessarily shows you any changes. 2- With gearbox update, adaptation settings get reset so you smooth ride. 3- My findings is that on old softwares, cars run lean and gives you better mpg IMO.
